Bogle's Bridge

Bogle's Bridge in Pollokshaws, photographed by Duncan Brown probably in 1889. This appears to be the bridge that carried Factory Street (later renamed Riverford Road) across the White Cart Water. The bridge was rebuilt in the 1930s.

Duncan Brown (1819-1897) was a talented amateur photographer whose work documents aspects of Glasgow life from the 1850s until the 1890s.
