A gilt and coloured silk embroidery made in Hyderabad in 1887 and displayed at the Glasgow International Exhibition in 1888. Hyderabad is the second largest city in Sind, which was a province of British India from the 1840s until it became a province of the newly-independent state of Pakistan in 1947.
