Garnethill Convent Secondary School on Hill Street in Garnethill, early 1970s.
The school opened on Buccleuch Street in 1856 as Garnethill Convent Higher Grade School. It moved to Hill Street in 1929 and the name changed to Garnethill Convent Senior Secondary School in 1940.
Garnethill closed its doors to pupils for the last time in 1981.
