Wellshot Laundry off Springfield Road (subsequently renamed Amulree Street), photographed c 1922. The green fields of the Sandyhills estate between Shettleston and Tollcross, shown here, were filled by the Sandyhills cottage housing scheme from 1924.

Behind the laundry is the Springfield Shrink Works. On the left of the photograph is Springfield Farm, now the site of Sandyhills Bowling Club.
