The World Pipe Band Championships at Glasgow Green. The annual Championships have been held in Glasgow since 1986.
The annual championships attract some 7,000 musicians and an audience of around 30,000 people, with both competitors and spectators travelling from all over the world to attend. As well as offering an opportunity to see and hear the world's finest pipe bands and highland dancers, the Championships provide attractions such as a traditional craft fair, special displays, children's activities and a beer tent.
