Al fresco dining in John Street in the Merchant City.
In recent years, many cafes and bars in the city centre have developed outdoor areas where customers can relax in a continental cafe style. The Scottish weather can be unpredictable, but this makes it even more pleasant to soak up the sunshine whenever possible.
Just behind the tables is the statue Mercurial, one of three statues of Mercury by Alexander Stoddart to be found in John Street.Reference: WiningandDining24
