Blending vats at Gleeenlees Brothers' warehouse beneath the raiway arches in Osborne Street, c 1890. There were six huge vats in the vatting house, with a total capacity of nearly 21,000 gallons of whisky. A steam-driven revolving oak propellers was used to help mix the whiskies in each vat.
