Boys' Brigade membership card, 1914-1915.
The Boys' Brigade was founded in 1883 by Glasgow businessman William Smith (1854-1914). By 1914 there were 70,000 boys in its ranks, mostly in Scotland but with a growing membership in England and abroad.
