The Glasgow hallkeepers and purveyors trip to Dunkeld on 21 June 1877, photographed by Duncan Brown.

Duncan Brown (1819-1897) was a talented amateur photographer whose work documented aspects of Glasgow life from the 1850s until the 1890s. In 1862 he left his job as janitor at the Glasgow School of Art and became keeper at the City Halls in Candleriggs.
