Crookston Castle photographed by Duncan Brown c 1895.
Duncan Brown (1819-1897) was a talented amateur photographer whose work documents aspects of Glasgow life from the 1850s until the 1890s. This is one of many of his photographs of the castle, possibly taken during a visit in the company of Hugh MacDonald and the Literary and Artistic Club in 1856.
