The St Mungo Museum of Religious Life and Art.
Opened in April 1993 the museum aims to promote understanding and respect between people of different faiths and none. It stands on the site of the medieval Bishop's Castle near Glasgow Cathedral, at the heart of the old city. This is reflected in the architecture of the museum which, although it is a thoroughly modern building, is in the Scots Baronial style.
