Simon Whitefield had a wholesale drapery warehouse at 10 Gorbals Street where he also manufactured overalls. From left to right are Fanny Wellins, Rose Sacharin (later Benjamin), Sylvia Balkin (later Rappaport) and Doris Antick. The women all worked in the sales department, except Rose Sacharin who worked in the office.
