Fairfield Shipyard 1932 by Muirhead Bone (1876-1953).

Muirhead Bone was born in Glasgow in 1876. He studied architecture and art at Glasgow School of Art and worked as an etcher and watercolour artist, moving to London in 1901. In May 1916 he became Britan's first war artist and was sent to France to record the fighting there. He returned to the United Kingdom in October and worked illustrating battleships and shipyards, before returning to France in 1917.
