The main passage of the Meat Market in Graham Square c 1911 after the reorganisation of the market and slaughterhouses. The market sold meat fresh from the nearby slaughterhouse, as well as frozen and chilled beef and mutton which had been imported on refrigerated container ships from the colonies and from Argentina and Uruguay.
