The cover of Seeing Glasgow by Tram and Bus.
This colourful booklet was produced by Glasgow Corporation in 1938, the year of the Empire Exhibition, to help tourists find their way around the city. It suggested attractions people might want to visit and explained the best ways to get there by public transport.
The booklet's cover shows a tram and a bus against the background of the exhibition and its famous Tower of Empire, commonly referred to as "Tait's Tower".
