A timetable of summer holiday excursions and day trips from Glasgow, 1928.
The London Midland & Scottish Railway Co offered a huge range of day trips and excursions from Glasgow. There were steamer cruises going round the islands of Arran and Bute, excursions to Loch Lomond or the Lake District and cheap tourist fares to towns in Scotland and England. For the more enterprising there were through tickets to Ireland and the Continent.
