Glasgow Corporation Transport Pipe Band, 1931.
Glasgow Corporation Transport employees were encouraged to take part in a wide range of leisure activities. Over the years, the departmental pipe bands won many trophies. Here, the Cathkin Championship Shield is shown on the left and on the right is the Argyll Shield and the World's Championship banner. Lachlan MacKinnon, the General Manager of the Transport Department, is sitting just to the left of the drums.
