Tollcross Main Street United Presbyterian Church, 1875.
The Tollcross Relief congregation was formed in 1806 and built this church in Tollcross Road, designed by the architect John Brash. It was said that one-fifth of the original congregation were weavers, and another fifth were miners. The clock tower and steeple was added in 1834. In 1847 the church became Tollcross Main Street United Presbyterian and in 1900 Tollcross Central United Free.
