The Elementary Teaching Laboratory at e University of Glasgow's Davidson building, 1963.
The Davidson Building was constructed to house the Biochemistry Department, and as such was equipped with the latest facilities for teaching and research. This picture was taken shortly after opening and shows one of the laboratories. Each workbench has ample storage for instruments, a sink, bunsen burners and other equipment needed for conducting experiments. It is spacious enough to accommodate large classes and the windows on the outside wall to the right allow large amounts of natural light into the room.
