Professor's Room, Ground Floor of the Gilbert Scott Building, University of Glasgow, 1976.
One of the advantages gained by the University's move from High Street to Gilmorehill was the increase in office space. This included retiring rooms or offices for the professors, allowing them space to prepare lectures and meet with individual students or small tutorial groups. Adequate office space has become even more highly valued as professors have become burdened with increasingly complex administrative duties.
The building which can be seen through the window is the James Watt Engineering Building.
