Advertisement for the cabinetmakers and furnishers Wylie & Lochhead in Ygorra, January 1938. The slogan spoofs the popular series of advertisements in the "My Goodness, My Guinness" campaign.

In the early 1830s, the partners Robert Wylie and James Lochhead sold upholstery, furnishings and paperhangings from their premises on Trongate. By 1862 their new Buchanan Street store had departments for upholstering, bed and table linen, feathers, carpets and floor cloths, and paperhangings. The firm was also engaged in cabinetmaking and paper staining at premises in Kent Road near Charing Cross and in upholstering, carving, and gilding at Mitchell Street in the city centre.

In 1862 the firm acquired a factory in Whiteinch and engaged in block printing and machine staining paperhangings on a large scale. Wylie and Lochhead wallpapers became famous across Britain.
