Glasgow University Rugby Football Club (GURFC) is one of the oldest, largest and most active clubs on campus. Formed in 1869, the club was one of the founder members of the Scottish Rugby Union and has fielded thirteen full internationalists.
The Glasgow University Women's Rugby Football Club (GUWRFC) was established in 1988, making it one of the oldest women’s clubs in Scotland. The club competes in two leagues; the University Wednesday League and the National Sunday League.
