Finnieston Ferries

The Finnieston Ferries, from Plantation on the south bank of the river.

The Finnieston Vehicular Ferry is at the Finnieston landing on the left of the picture. The stairs leading down to the passenger ferry landing are in front of the north rotunda, which housed the Glasgow Harbour Tunnel's entrances and hoists. Steam passenger ferries (which replaced the chain-hauled vessels during the late 19th century) are in the foreground and on the right.
