Queen's Dock, 1870s

Construction work at Queen's Dock in Stobcross in the early 1870s. Concrete cylinder rings are being sunk into the ground to form the foundations of quay walls.

The two tall cones in the background may belong to glassworks in Jamaica Street belonging to John Pringle and to John Baxter.
