Wellshot Secondary School

Wellshot Secondary School in Tollcross, 1970s.

Wellshot Public School was designed by James Lindsay in 1902 for the Shettleston School Board. An additional block of classrooms facing Altyre Street were designed by John McKissack.

Wellshot became a junior secondary school in 1940, and a primary in 1973.
