"The Parkhead Guzzle After Burns' Centenary", a song preserved in a scrapbook entitled Old Glasgow Street Songs etc, 1850 which is held at the Mitchell Library.
This comic song, published in 1869, tells of how a group of men (apparently the members of a Burns Club committee) spent money which was left over from celebrations of the centenary of Robert Burns' birth. "For the poor we do not care, Neither do we for Burns' heir."
