"Argyll Street, Glasgow, On A Sunday Night", a song which has been preserved in a scrapbook entitled Old Glasgow Street Songs etc, 1850 which is held at the Mitchell Library.

The song celebrates the "humour, merriment, frolic and fun" to be found on busy Argyle Street on a Sunday evening.
