Domestic Science Lesson

A lesson in domestic science for the girls of Canning Place Public School on St James' Road in Townhead, 1916.

This classroom was equipped with a Welsh dresser full of crockery. The title chalked on the blackboard is "Domestic Work" and the list below probably contains the tasks which the girls would be expected to learn during the lesson.
