Jeanette Swanson of Monklands and Shettleston Harriers winning the East End 10k Fun Run in April 1990. The race was sponsored by the East End Initiative, Glasgow 1990 Festival Office and the city's Parks and Recreation Department.
The finish line was at the Crownpoint Sports Park in Bridgeton. The men's race was won by Geoff Turnbull of Valley Harriers, Gateshead.
