An advertisement and timetable of the Glasgow, Paisley, Kilmarnock & Ayr Railway which appeared in the Post Office Glasgow directory of 1843-1844. The railway shared the line from Glasgow to Paisley with the Glasgow, Paisley & Greenock Railway and its through services to Ardrossan from Paisley ran along the Ardrossan Railway. The extension from Dalry to Kilmarnock was completed in 1843.
