J & A Ferguson's tea warehouse at 121 Trongate, on the corner of New Wynd, c 1872.
The warehouse was built by tea and sugar merchants, William McEwan, Sons & Co, in 1827 and occupied by the firm until 1855. It was said to have been the first warehouse in the city to have plate glass windows.
