Actors Blythe Duff, Paul Young, Robert Robertson and Iain Cuthbertson at the launch of a National Theatre for Scotland campaign at the City Chambers. Blythe Duff is best known for her role as detective Jackie Reid in Scottish Television's successful crime series Taggart. Paul Young had been a familiar face as a drama and comedy actor before he became presenter of a highly successful TV series on angling. Robert Robertson was another Taggart regular, playing the role of pipe-smoking pathologist Dr Stephen Andrews until his death in 2001.
Iain Cuthbertson made his stage debut at the Citizens' Theatre in 1958, before going to London to became well-known as a star in successful TV series such as Budgie, Charles Endell Esquire and Sutherland's Law.
