French bedsteads made by Andrew Sharp & Sons, illustrated in the firm's 1924 trade catalogue. The bedsteads were supplied in various sizes with 1.25 inch polished pillars. Prices ranged from 55 to 77 shillings (£2.75 - £3.85). In addition to bedsteads, the firm made cots and bed chairs.

The Campbellfield Bedstead Works were built for the iron bed manufacturer Andrew Sharp in 1876, in Campbellfield Street off Gallowgate. The building was badly damaged by fire in 1881 but restored in the following year.
