Mitchell Theatre

The St Andrew's Halls burned down in 1962. In 1980 an extension to the Mitchell Library was built on the site, behind the original fa├žade, and the building also incorporated the Mitchell Theatre. Touring plays, amateur drama, musical comedies and pantomimes have been staged in the small theatre which has a capacity of 418. It is owned by Glasgow City Council.
