John Logan Aikman (1820-1885) was minister of Anderston Relief Church 1856-1885.
Aikman was born in Lanark. He translated to Anderston from St James' Place, Edinburgh, in 1856, and was assitant there to Dr Struthers unitl the latter man died two years later. He was awarded the degree of DD by New York in 1869 and by the University of Glasgow in 1885, and was Moderator of the General Assembly of the United Presbyterian Church in 1884.
