William Logan (b 1813) was a missionary and restaurateur.
Born in Hamilton and a weaver by trade, Logan came to Glasgow in 1829 and worked for the grocers S&W McCulloch. He became involved in the temperance movement and in 1837 moved to London, from where he toured England as a missionary. When he retired in the 1870s he returned to Glasgow a poor man. Friends helped him open the Maxwell Street Dining Rooms, a temperance restaurant.
