William Sidney

William Sidney was a theatre manager.

Sidney was born in England and toured as a stage manager and "low comedian." In 1871 he took the lease of the Prince of Wales Theatre, on the corner of Stewart and Cowcaddens Streets, and was the manager and a performer there until 1875.
