The Mack Room at the Lighthouse.
The Lighthouse opened in 1999 in the former Glasgow Herald Building that was remodelled by Charles Rennie Mackintosh in the early 1890s. It is Scotland's first dedicated national centre for architecture and design.
The Mack Room houses the Mackintosh Interpretation Centre. Designed by Gareth Hoskins Architects, the centre is divided into two sections. The first contains information about the Lighthouse itself, while the second section features a series of displays about Charles Rennie Mackintosh's life, work and influence.
