1901 Exhibition by Harry Spence (1860-1928).
The Eastern Palace is in the background, its golden dome dominating the skyline, while one of the smaller pavilions is in the foreground. Both of the buildings shown in this oil painting were demolished when the 1901 International Exhibition closed.
