Moss Lane photographed by Duncan Brown c 1880s or 1890s.
Moss Lane appears to be another name for Moss-Side Road in Crossmyloof. When Brown took this photograph it was still a leafy lane in a rural area. A horse and cart stand in the middle distance and houses and other figures are just visible in the background.
Duncan Brown (1819-1897) was a talented amateur photographer whose work documents aspects of Glasgow life from the 1850s until the 1890s.
