An invitation to a conversazione (an Italian word for a social gathering) held by the Glasgow Fire Brigade in the Albion Halls on 25 February 1892. The Fire Brigade had become independent in 1891 - prior to that it had been under the jurisdiction of the police force.
Albion Halls were located on the corner of Shuttle Street and College Street, on the site of the old Police Barracks. They burned down in 1909.
