Sandyford Street in 1901.
The main entrance to the Glasgow International Exhibition of 1901 was in Sandyford Street. Clustered round the entrance were the pavilions, each with a different theme. There were pavilions for India and the other British colonies, pavilions for foreign countries and of course a variety of pavilions showcasing British products and machinery. All these buildings were demolished when the exhibition ended, with the exception of Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.
In front of the entrance is the new electric tram system, which was introduced to coincide with the exhibition.
