Poster advertising The Ship, a Bill Bryden play that was staged in Harland & Wolff's former engine shed in Govan during Glasgow's year as European City of Culture, 1990.
The production involved the creation of a 67-feet wide model of a ship inside the shed, to accommodate an audience of up to 1,200, and culminated each night in the spectacular recreation of a launch. The shed was used again in 1994 for another Bryden production, The Big Picnic, starring Jimmy Logan.
