"Ticket o' a Dug, or The Trip Tae Glasca", a song preserved in a scrapbook entitled Old Glasgow Street Songs etc, 1850 which is held at the Mitchell Library.
This song describes the experiences of a naive country dweller on a visit to Glasgow from Fintry, and the confidence tricksters he meets before being robbed and ending up in court. As his brother says, "yer naethin' but a mug."
