"Sour Mulk Charlie Is My Name", a song preserved in a scrapbook entitled Old Glasgow Street Songs etc, 1850 which is held at the Mitchell Library.
The song is a comic version of the popular Champagne Charlie. A "plunk" is a dollop - perhaps of wine?
