A photograph of a portrait of Archbishop James Law (1560-1632). The identity of the original artist is unknown.
Law became Bishop of Orkney in 1606 and was translated to the Archbishopric of Glasgow in 1615. He was buried in the chancel of Glasgow Cathedral.
