An advertisement for the Glasgow Union Banking Company from the Post Office Glasgow directory of 1839-1840. The Glasgow Union Bank was founded in 1830 and in 1843 became the Union Bank of Scotland. In 1955 it was acquired by the Bank of Scotland.
