China and glassware illustrated in a sale catalogue issued by Pettigrew & Stephens in January 1933.
At the beginning of the 1930s, modern designs in crockery produced more geometric and angular forms with elaborate hand-painted decoration. But this is scarcely in evidence in the more traditional china shown here.
