Tait's Directory p32

The first Glasgow directory was published in 1783 by John Tait. This image is taken from a facsimile reprint published in 1871 by Robert Forrester. Page 32 includes surnames from Fisher to Forest and among those listed are a dancing teacher, a "teacher of languages and vintner" and a Candleriggs brewer.
