Secretary D D Binnie was a lawyer, taking time out from his duties with the firm of Donald, Binnie & Harvey.
T M W Watson was well qualified for the post of Treasurer. A chartered accountant, he was auditor of the Savings Bank of Glasgow 1901-1921.
Architect R J Walker had designed the Canadian Pavilion for the 1901 Exhibition and his firm had been involved in exhibitions at Wolverhampton in 1902 and at Edinburgh in 1908. He was an admirer of traditional Scottish architecture.
The Exhibition Manager was W H Knight, who had extensive experience managing exhibitions in English cities. According to the Bailie, "what he does not know about Exhibitions is not worth mentioning."
As Chief Engineer, A C Freeman had responsibility for layout, roads, drainage, water supply, gas and electric lighting. He had been Assistant Engineer at the 1901 Exhibition.
